I set up a camera and filmed some of a live set recently . . . this was a sit down & chill place with couches on a weekday . . . not really a bouncing club like I’m used to DJing, so it was a different kind of night . . .
Playing Sax while DJing
I have been playing the saxophone for a long time, and absolutely love playing the sax while I’m DJing. Nothing’s better than the energy of actual musical instruments, which is why I often DJ with a live drummer . . . DJing for me is also a form of improvisation . . . mixing different beats, samples and acapellas together, using DJ tools and effects to change and morph the music into something completely new. The other day I was DJing at a bar and some patrons insisted that I play more sax . . . here’s a little video from that night:

I find it hard to focus
Sometimes I have the hardest time staying on track . . . I can only sit in one spot for so long before my mind wanders and I jump from one thing to another without finishing anything . . . do you have the same problem?
DJ + Sax + Drums for Halloween at Gracie's SLC

Sundance for the Park City Institute and "We Rise Up" Movie

So excited that I have 50 pages done of my first graphic novel, telling my story. So much goes into the creation of this project telling my story . . .

I had a great time making the video for my single “Traffic” . . . Ryan from Our Story Creative did an amazing job on the video, and it was so fun to work with Rio Summers . . . you might recognize her form YG’s “Big Bank” Video and America’s Next Top Model.
The 1967 Pontiac FireBird in the video was so much fun to drive. Can’t wait for my next video to come out!
